Wilson lends voice to animated pooch

Owen Wilson has signed on to voice the rascally Great Dane Marmaduke in Fox's adaptation of the long-running comic strip.

Wilson is the last piece of the puzzle for the live-action/computer-animated movie, in which Judy Greer, Lee Pace and William H. Macy play the humans, while Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Chr istopher Mintz-Plasse, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans and Marlon Wayans supply the voices.

Tom Dey is directing the family comedy, set for a June 2010 release. Wilson starred opposite a rambunctious lab in Fox's Marley and did voice work in the upcoming animated Wes Anderson picture The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
