Re: Bill Jackson
I am truly sick to my stomach reading the garbage this site is allowing this person to publish. If you are so unhappy, although I would honestly say you are jealous, of living near the 1st Nation Mohawk people, why don't you move???? No one is begging you to stay, believe me. You are so in the dark about everything you write, it is amazing. My daughter graduated this spring from the FNTI Mowhawk language course with honours & as her mother, along with the rest of her family, including her grandparents are extremely proud of her. It is a great honour for us as parents to know that our children & grandchildren are learning their language. As for no one ever using the skills that they are learning from the FNTI, you definitely don't know what you are talking about. There are pilots who have graduated from the flying progam & are residents from our reserve who are licensed pilots. PLEASE do your research before you open your mouth. You are only making a fool out of yourself!

Each and everyone
of us need to watch "Zeitgeist", a 2 hour free for all movie on "YouTube".
It contains the latest and the most important facts on how our world is controlled and deceived by a few.
A world government with a world religion has turned each of us into nothing more than puppets through conditioning us to believe in series of things that never existed.
Priceless and very needed.
Time to wake up.

In response to "concerned":

The animal attacks and mutilations are more than just a kid seeking attention. What you fail to see is that any person who is capable of these atrocities is more than likely someone who has or is being abused or neglected themselves.

It is imperative that these crimes be made public in order for the public to take notice and protect themselves and their pets. This also makes it increasingly more difficult for the perpetrator to commit the crimes unnoticed.

And for the record, focus on the safety of our children and pets should always be in the forefront of our minds, not just during the uproar of a sick person on the loose. The publication of these crimes is imperative in creating a safer place for our children and pets because it makes each person a little more suspicious resulting in a community that takes notice of things that seem peculiar.

I would like to take this opportunity to make my views known in regards to the discussions around a new 50m pool to be payed for by the taxpayer of Kingston. I do not support such an idea or proposal. For sometime now the special interest group behind this proposal has been trying to find money. In fact they have been at it for years. They have as recent as last year attempted to get the Pittsburgh Fund to give up monies for this scheme. The taxpayers of this city should not have to support such special interest groups (ie. swim clubs etc.) or the people behind them. If these people want a pool for their kids to train at, then let them finance it through the banks or other means, and they pay for it. I would like to see the Whig do some digging about what this proposal is really about and more importantly the people behind it. I suspect there is some real investigative journalism that could be done here. We have more pressing problems and issues to spend our money on in Kingston, such as infrastructure repairs. We also certainly have enough pools in the city and region at this time. At a time that the cost of everything is going up, including plans to raise our taxes, this is an absolute inane consideration. Thank you for your time.

Whoever is hurting/killing these animals is getting the attention that they want when the paper publishes this information. Instead of giving whoever is doing this satisfaction we should be focusing on how to keep our animals and children safe. After all is someone is doing this unnoticed what is next when they are comfortable humans? So please stop giving these people the attention and keep a look out& protect our families and pets!!

Re:First Nations Technical Institution
They classify FNTI as an indegenous owned & controlled institute.Well with the price of gas most people cant afford to drive their cars while the students at FNTI fly around all day in airplanes wasting thousands of gallons of gas everyday teaching Native kids how to fly. Most of these students never use the training they receive at FNTI & furthermore their isnt a kid from the Tyendenaga reserve that takes advantage of these courses its all kids from other reserves in Canada now what good is FNTI for the Tyendenaga Reserve.I feel if FNTI is an owned & controlled Institution the Government should give them the (Gas Bill) to pay & the(Payroll)paid to the unskilled teachers that teach them.So in closing these planes should not be flying over a populated area as they are unskilled pilots & their planes sound like there going to fall apart.

Curious how my comment on the Jamie Arniel drunk driving case simply vanished yesterday. ACTUALLY, after search your site today it seems the entire story has simply disappeared into thin air. I see today's letters section in the actual paper includes a ridiculous comment from a gentleman, Mr. McKendry who scolds the Whig for putting this story on the front page. In his opinion, it was no harm no foul. The talented up and coming hockey player should be left alone to advance in his career. This is absolutely pathetic and Mr. McKendry must be quite a hockey fan or parent. Jamie Arniel should not be treated any better because he is a good hockey player. Fact of the matter is he drove drunk, VERY drunk and could have killed anyone of our loved ones. The excuse that he was under alot of pressure is also a copout. Please! Many people are under alot of pressure but we don't get loaded and drive around town. He got lucky this time...the pressure is only going to increase so maybe he need to find another career. Bottom line...nothing excuses this "hero" from doing what he did.

What kind of a Demented person would set a Dog on Fire? When I read that on this site I couldn't even imagine How Sick and Twisted someone would have to be to do something like that, It would take a real Cold Blooded Criminal for sure. I hope they catch the ones that are responsible and make sure the Punishment isn't the usual Slap on the Wrist.
